Muffins are ideal for birthdays, parties, and children’s celebrations and are always an original gift to bring along. The decorating ideas are endless. For example, color sugar glazes with food coloring. A few drops are enough for pastel tones and with strong pressure on the tube the colors will be beautiful.

The decoration is placed on top of the easily dried glaze: sugar beads, sugar flowers, chocolate chips, icing or marzipan figures. The offers in the supermarkets is enormous and confectioneries also deliver edible decorations according to the season.

If you want to be creative, use sugar glaze. Fill a small zip-lock bag with semi liquid icing and cut off a small corner with a pair of scissors: if you want to write greetings on the muffins, cut off a larger corner. You can purchase a tube of sugar glaze for writing, from the shelf of any well-stocked baking goods shop.
